These spectacular one-of-a-kind dish towels make me feel happy every time I use them. I can feel the love that Molly Thompson of Pretty Flours puts into hand carving her own stamps and then stamping each and every towel individually.
This flour sack dish towel is handprinted in Portland, Maine - one at a time - on a strong, absorbent, 100% organic cotton towel for the kitchen. Beautiful enough to display on a hook or your oven door handle. Functional and durable enough to use every day. I use mine every day! I’ve had some for five years or more and they are still going strong!

Molly Thompson of Pretty Flours controls every step of the creative process. She designs the rubber stamps, hand-mixes the paints, and decides how the stamps turn into patterns on the cloth and paper. She is equal parts modesty, inspiring talent, and success story.
“The design of each of my towels and table linens is inspired by nature and by my verve for color and for functional objects representative of good design. Each linen is unique – individually printed using a process that begins with carving my original drawings onto a pliable rubber surface which is then mounted on wood to create a stamp.
I hand paint the stamp again and again to create printed impressions that mirror gardens, both real and imagined. The fabrics I print on are made of natural fibers and the paints are food safe and heat set, to withstand rigorous use and repeated washing.” Molly Thompson
